Getting to Valencia
Valencia airport
Valencia airport is only a few kilometers outside of the city, so flying to Valencia is the best option! A metro ride from Valencia airpot into the city costs €5 and takes about 30 minutes.
Other airports
Alternatively, you could fly to a major city like Madrid, Barcelona or to other nearby airports such as Alicante or Castellón and from there take a train or a bus.
Transport Services in Spain
Use Omio to find transport links and buy tickets. You can also use the main bus provider ALSA website to book a bus directly. BlaBlaCar car pooling is another popular way to get between cities in Valencia. It’s generally very reliable and often cheaper than buses/trains.
Getting around Valencia
Public Transport: Valencia has great public transport infrastructure. A 10-trip pass for the metro/tram/bus network costs €5. There are 10 metro lines and the city also has a good bus service.
Cycle: Valencia is renowned for being a super cycle-friendly city, boasting tons of cycling lanes and the Turia park, where you can cut straight through 9km of the city. Rentals start from about 8€ per day. Most business have their WhatsApp number linked to GoogleMaps, so it’s worth messaging in advance to reserve your bike.
